Are you passionate about color accuracy and digital print quality? If you have experience creating color profiles, calibrating digital printers, and achieving precise color consistency, we want you on our team.
We're seeking a Digital Print Color Management Professional to oversee the critical connection between digital artwork and exceptional printed output. This role is ideal for someone who understands that great printing starts with accurate color management.
What You'll Do:
- Create, maintain, and optimize ICC color profiles for digital print equipment.
- Calibrate and linearize digital printers to ensure consistent, repeatable color across multiple devices and substrates.
- Utilize color management software and spectrophotometers to measure, analyze, and correct color output.
- Develop and maintain printer/media profiles to maximize color accuracy and production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot color inconsistencies and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with prepress and production teams to ensure customer expectations for brand colors and color-critical graphics are consistently met.
- Prepare production files using industry-standard prepress techniques while maintaining color integrity throughout the workflow.
- Establish and document color standards and best practices across the production environment.
What You'll Need:
- Demonstrated experience with digital color management and printer profiling.
- Strong understanding of ICC workflows, color spaces (CMYK, RGB, LAB), rendering intents, and color calibration principles.
- Experience using color measurement devices such as X-Rite or Barbieri spectrophotometers.
- Proficiency with color management and RIP software (ONYX, Caldera, Fiery, ColorGate, or similar platforms).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain color consistency across a variety of printers, inks, and print media.
