Job Title: Operations Manager
Reports To: Business Leader
Direct Reports: Delivery Drivers, Warehouse Employees, Purchasers, Bottlers
Job Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of our warehouse and inventory operation while achieving budgetary and service level goals. This role is responsible for procuring, organizing, storing, and dispatching of warehouse materials, as well as managing all other warehouse personnel. You will provide effective and reliable service to our techs, drivers, and other warehouse staff while meeting all legal and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Asset Management:

Manage the entire inventory procurement and warehousing process including the procurement, organization, storage, and dispatching of warehouse materials

Ensure warehouse is properly stocked according to business needs and organized in a safe and efficient manner at all times

Maintain accurate and regular inventory counts and records per company policy utilizing company inventory tracking system
- Maintain accurate and current pricebook
- Ensure technician vehicles are properly stocked for daily jobs and ready for operation every morning
- Oversee facility maintenance program and coordinate all regular or as-needed repairs
Team Leadership & Supervision:

Manage and support a team of warehouse and purchasing personnel
- Provide training and development opportunities to keep the team current on systems, tools, and procedures

Conduct quality checks on warehouse and employees to verify adherence to company standards
- Deliver coaching, performance management, and conduct annual performance reviews for all direct reports

Collaborate with the Service/Install and CSR teams to ensure proper warehouse and technician vehicle inventory stocking based on staffing, technician schedules, and company priorities

Maintain positive and supportive relationship with technician team
Gross Margin Management:

Manage and achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual company Gross Margin goals
- Control material and labor costs through effective purchasing, organization, and storage or all materials and equipment
- Stay current on vendor pricing, price increases, and assess alternative avenues to save company money while preserving equipment/service quality
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, improve margins, and increase profitability
Workplace Standards & Safety Compliance:

Ensure warehouse is clean, safe, & organized and that all equipment is stored properly and in accordance with all safety standards, building codes, and company policies

Enforce company safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment

Perform regular warehouse safety audits
- Promote a culture of safety and address hazards immediately

Investigate incidents and near-misses, implement corrective actions, and complete required reports

Manage all instances of property damage and missing inventory
Requirements
o 3-5 Years of experience leading or managing a sales team
o Experience in water treatment, home services, in-home sales, or related industries preferred
o Proven track record of driving sales performance and achieving revenue targets
o Experience coaching, mentoring and developing sales professionals
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills
o Ability to build relationships with customers, internal stakeholder
o Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory
