Requirements:
Lead Instructor
- Minimum 4 years as a certified EMT or Paramedic
- Active EMT Licensed by the State of Florida to teach EMT
- Active Paramedic Licensed to teach EMT or Paramedic
- AS Degree or Higher
- Currently employed within the field of EMS a plus
- Organized
- Knowledgeable
- Motivated
Adjunct Instructor
- Minimum 2 years as a certified EMT or Paramedic
- Active EMT Licensed by the State of Florida to teach EMT
- Active Paramedic Licensed to teach EMT or Paramedic

Job Description:
- Prepare for lectures
- Instruct didactic lectures to EMT and Paramedic Students
- Instruct Psychomotor Labs to EMT and Paramedic Students
- Administrative duties ( Create Exams, Log Attendance and Grades, Counseling Forms, Complete continued education forms, etc.)
- Prepare for Continued Education courses
- Instruct courses per AHA & NAEMT guidelines
Scheduling:
Scheduling is relative to position (CE Instructor, EMS Adjunct Instructor, EMS Lead Instructor) based on the instructor days of availability.
Pay:
Pay is relative to instructional experience.
Certifications:
Mandatory in order to qualify:
EMT & Paramedic Certification within the State of Florida
Additional Required Certifications: (URTI is able to certify eligible applicants at the applicant's expense if currently non-certified in one or more of the courses listed below)
EMS Instructor Level A & B (Obtaining certification is the responsibility and at the expense of the prospective instructor)
AHA Instructor BLS, ACLS, PALS (Obtaining certification is the responsibility and at the expense of the prospective instructor)
NAEMT PHTLS & AMLS Instructor (Obtaining certification is the responsibility and at the expense of the prospective instructor)
