Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, respectful, and dedicated Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to elderly residents in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). The Caregiver is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence, ensuring resident safety, and fostering a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home environment. This position plays a vital role in enhancing each resident's quality of life through compassionate, person-centered care while adhering to California RCFE regulations, facility policies, and residents' rights.

They work collaboratively with fellow team members, healthcare professionals, and residents' families to provide the highest standard of care while maintaining a safe and supportive living environment.
Responsibilities
- Bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Eating and hydration assistance
- Monitor residents for changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition and promptly report concerns to the Administrator or designated supervisor.
- Administer or assist with medications
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to residents' dietary needs and preferences
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment
- Encourage participation in recreational, social, and therapeutic activities
