New Horizon Cuisine is a premier manufacturer of quality broths, bases, sauces, and extracts for the industrial and food service industries. We are located in Ankeny, IA and are looking to add a full-time position for our evening 2PM-10PM shift to help close down our facility.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, learning the products and facility, packaging product, cleaning equipment, learning how to operate equipment, learning proper sanitation, light maintenance, and preparing for the next day's production.
Candidates must have a strong work ethic, outstanding attendance, leadership skills, reliable transportation, be self-motivated, fast moving, and have great attention to detail. Ability to work in a team environment is a must. Prior food handling experience is strongly preferred, but not required. Manufacturing experience will be a benefit as well. Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
