Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring quick and correct entry
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, adhere to food safety protocols, and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for cashiering tasks
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Experience with food handling, preparation support, or kitchen experience is a plus
- Host/hostess experience or serving background is beneficial for guest relations roles
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment
