Overview
We are seeking dedicated reliable and compassionate In house dog lovers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for dogs. Must enjoy working hard and in a fast pace environment with a passion for cleaning and organization and detail. This role involves daily interaction with all types of dog breeds confidence is a must . The right person will be ensuring all dogs well-being while lodging and assisting with various in house operations. Weekend committment and a 3 days during the week is a must. No exceptions.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for dogs including feeding, and care taking
- Maintain cleanliness of suites, play areas, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to lead staff or management.
- Lots of cleaning.
- Help with administrative tasks such as record keeping of appetite and daily care.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of animal care are met.
Skills
- Experience in a kennel or role is preferred, but we will train the right person.
- Knowledge of dog behavior a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling large breeds or equipment.
- Ability to perform pushing, pulling, lifting, walking and handling of 2 to 50+ pound dogs
- Strong skills in pet care, including feeding, grooming, and general maintenance of animal health.
- Hardworking
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members
- A genuine love for dogs and a commitment to their welfare is essential.
- Enjoys promoting and working within a team culture.
