Job Overview
We are on the lookout for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering top-notch food service in a lively, fast-paced environment. As a key player in our food service operations, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, manage staff, and ensure that every product meets our high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and has a solid background in food preparation, kitchen management, and team leadership.
Duties
- Supervise all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Oversee staff training and development, including upholding food safety and service standards.
- Handle shift management by coordinating schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Oversee food production for various service types such as casual dining, catering, or banquet events.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food industry, especially in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations with a focus on food safety standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Experience in managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing food management strategies.
- Prior involvement in staff training & development programs to enhance team performance.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles within diverse restaurant environments including hotel or catering services.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
