Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hydraulic Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems. Duties
- Perform comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and related components using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics on equipment to identify issues with electrical systems, wiring, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and sensors.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to assess system performance and pinpoint faults.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting guides to facilitate accurate repairs.
- Maintain and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring optimal performance through routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts safely while performing maintenance tasks at elevated heights.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades that improve efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial mechanics..
- Ability to read schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering diagrams accurately.
- Skilled in welding ( welding preferred), electrical diagnostics, equipment repair, and troubleshooting pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems for automation troubleshooting.
- Experience operating precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent analysis skills to identify root causes efficiently.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
