Shift Leader Barista — The Sweet Grind
The Sweet Grind is hiring a Shift Leader Barista! ☕️
We’re looking for an experienced, passionate barista who genuinely loves coffee, drink-making, and creating a great customer experience.
This is a hands-on leadership role in our coffee bus, so you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-space food truck environment and be confident working independently.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of barista experience/training
- Strong knowledge of espresso, coffee preparation, and drink building
- Passionate about specialty drinks and creating beautiful, consistent beverages
- Comfortable working in a food truck/mobile coffee environment
- Able to lead a shift, stay organized, and keep things moving during busy periods
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable making decisions independently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable training and supporting other team members
- Matcha knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Someone who wants to grow with a small business and take on more responsibility over time
