Pay: $17–$20/hour (depending on experience)

About Yelo Aple
Yelo Aple is a growing plant boutique focused on creating a welcoming and creative shopping experience while offering healthy plants, unique products, and community-centered events. We are looking for a dependable, plant-loving Store Manager to help oversee operations across both store locations.
Job Overview
The ideal candidate has previous plant care experience, strong customer service skills, and a passion for retail and community engagement. Experience with social media and TikTok Shop is a major plus, as a large portion of our sales come through TikTok and online engagement.
This position will begin as part-time with opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations
- Going Live on TikTok
- Care for and maintain indoor plants
- Assist customers with plant selection and plant care advice
- Water, prune, and monitor plant health
- Handle inventory, merchandising, and restocking
- Training Staff
- Open and close stores as needed
- Assist with TikTok Shop orders and live sale support
- Create or assist with social media content for TikTok and Instagram
- Maintain store cleanliness and visual presentation
- Travel between both store locations when needed
- Represent Yelo Aple at local pop-up markets and community events
- Support team operations and deliver excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Previous plant care experience preferred
- Retail or management experience preferred
- Social media experience preferred (especially TikTok, TikTok Shop, and Instagram)
- Comfortable being on camera or helping create content is a plus
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to travel between store locations and local events
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and positive attitude
- Ability to lift and move plants and supplies
- Weekend availability preferred
