American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an EP Lab position in South Florida, requiring dual EP and Cath Lab competency with a minimum of two years of recent EP experience.

EP Lab unit within a hospital setting

Dual role requiring competency in both EP and Cath Lab specialties

Patient population includes Stroke, Neuro Intervention, Cerebral Thrombectomies, and Embolizations cases
-
Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Epic EMR used; prior experience required

Active FL RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA required

Minimum 2 years of recent EP Lab experience required

Cath Lab experience required in addition to EP experience

Trauma experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Degree from an accredited college or university required (candidates from Operation Nightingale schools are not eligible)

Must successfully complete a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses

Smoke-free facility

Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted but at a lower pay rate

Former permanent employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

A pass/fail Basic Arrhythmia (EKG) assessment is required; candidates who do not score 100% on the lethal rhythm section must complete a retake dysrhythmia exam within 24 hours and achieve an overall Angoff score of 83% or greater, 100% on the lethal rhythm section, and 83% on all other sections

Pre-start online orientation modules (8 hours for RN) must be completed prior to first shift

Proof of vaccination status is required; declinations are not accepted
