Public Relations & Community Outreach Representative

Position Summary
The Public Relations & Community Outreach Representative serves as the face of 1st Choice Plumbing, Heating & Air Solutions throughout our service areas. This position is responsible for building meaningful relationships within the community, increasing brand awareness, developing referral partnerships, and representing our company at networking events, community organizations, trade shows, and charitable events.
This individual should be outgoing, energetic, professional, and passionate about creating lasting relationships while promoting our mission of delivering exceptional customer service. Self Starter who will be responsible for filling their schedule.
Primary Responsibilities: Community Engagement
- Represent the company at Chamber of Commerce meetings, networking events, ribbon cuttings, and community gatherings.
- Attend meetings for organizations including:
- Southlake Chamber of Commerce
- Weatherford Chamber of Commerce
- Parker County Chamber of Commerce
- Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce
- Local BNI groups
- Business networking organizations
- Community festivals and events
- Serve as the primary ambassador for the company's brand.
- Build strong relationships with local businesses and community leaders.
Business Development
- Develop referral relationships with:
- Realtors
- Property Managers
- Builders
- Insurance Agents
- Restoration Companies
- HOAs
- Property Investors
- Commercial Property Owners
- Schedule introductions and lunch meetings with potential referral partners.
- Maintain ongoing communication with referral partners.
- Generate qualified leads through networking efforts.
Public Relations
- Increase visibility of the company's brand throughout the communities we serve.
- Coordinate participation in local sponsorships and charitable events.
- Assist with community service projects.
- Promote company involvement within the community.
- Represent company values with professionalism and integrity.
Marketing Support
- Collect photos and videos from community events.
- Coordinate social media content from networking activities.
- Assist with event planning and promotional campaigns.
- Work with the marketing team to maximize exposure from community involvement.
Relationship Management
- Maintain a CRM/database of referral partners.
- Conduct follow-up calls and visits with key partners.
- Deliver appreciation gifts and marketing materials.
- Ensure relationships remain active and productive.
Performance Expectations
The successful candidate will:
- Attend multiple networking events each week.
- Generate new referral partnerships monthly.
- Increase community awareness of the company.
- Produce qualified residential and commercial leads.
- Maintain a professional image representing the company.
- Build long-term relationships throughout the community.

Work Schedule
This position generally works Monday through Friday; however, flexibility is required to attend early morning networking events, evening Chamber meetings, ribbon cuttings, business mixers, and occasional weekend community events.
