Overview

Responsibilities
- Safely rig, lift, and position heavy equipment, materials, and structural components using cranes, boom trucks and forklift.
- Inspect rigging gear and lifting devices regularly to ensure safety standards are met and equipment is in optimal condition.
- Coordinate with crane operators, construction managers, and team members to plan lift sequences and execute tasks efficiently.
- Handle materials with precision on construction sites or in warehouse environments, ensuring proper storage and transportation for shipping & receiving.
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of rigging systems while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of lifts performed, equipment used, and safety inspections completed.
- Support shipping & receiving activities by managing inventory movement and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in rigging on construction sites or industrial environments.
- Mechanical knowledge of rigging hardware, cranes, forklifts, boom trucks, excavators, backhoes, and other heavy equipment operation.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for operating certain vehicles or transporting equipment.
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, boom trucks, excavators, backhoes confidently.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and site logistics to coordinate effectively across teams. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
