Fast growing Bay Shore based HVAC Company is looking for a delivery driver. Full time position.
The driver will operate a box truck or similar vehicle and deliver parts, materials and finished products to Field staff or clients.
Requirements/Duties:
- Have good time management skills and be a team player
- Pick up materials from vendors
- Load truck with packages scheduled for the day’s deliveries
- Deliver packages and gets receiving slips signed when necessary
- Picks up returns and items for use by the company and verifies goods received against packing slips and signs receipts
- Corresponding with project managers and field staff to make sure material is dropped off to the correct job sites and in a timely manner
- Maintains simple records of deliveries
- Follows maintenance schedule for having truck serviced
- Takes other vehicles for service when instructed to and reports any mechanical problems to supervisor
- Tagging all returns to warehouse that include: recovered refrigerant, glycol samples, defective tools and equipment parts
- Assists in general warehouse duties upon completing delivery route
- Relevant trade experience; knowledge of tools, fittings, piping, insulation and sheet metal materials, etc.
- CLEAN drivers license is a MUST
