Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Event Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness during events, ensuring that all areas are presentable and safe for guests. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Work varied hours to include nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties before, during, and after events to ensure all spaces are clean and welcoming.
- Conduct janitorial tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces as needed.
- Ensure restrooms are stocked and clean throughout the duration of events.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts efficiently.
- Collaborate with event staff to ensure all cleaning needs are met promptly.
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred, with a focus on commercial cleaning environments.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.97 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
