The Company –
conceptcsi is a client-oriented commercial General Contractor and Construction Management firm based in New York City, with over 30 years of national and international experience. We specialize in corporate interiors, critical infrastructure, and data centers, servicing select clients through a renowned boutique service. We are seeking a well-rounded, experienced, qualified Project Superintendent to join our growing team.
Responsibilities –
- Plan and supervise day-to-day activities of the field labor force.
- Monitor and inspect all subcontractors’ work to ensure the highest quality with best practice methods and in full compliance with contract documents.
- Implement the project schedule to follow critical path and ensure that all milestones and key activities take place on or before scheduled dates.
- Prepare and submit all reports and daily logs using proprietary web-based project management tool.
- Coordinate subcontractor work scopes and material deliveries for job sites
- Communicate and enforce conceptcsi’s safety program including daily inspections, toolbox meetings and the utilization of appropriate PPE for subcontractors.
- Document all field changes and as-built conditions and communicate to Project Manager.
Requirements –
- 5+ years of experience in construction area with strong project management and communications skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Procore or Microsoft Project.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Possess effective organizational, communication and people skills. This position requires someone who is an initiative-taker and can work on minimal supervision.
