Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Host to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating flow. Duties
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and seating options
- Assist guests with special needs or requests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow and guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, adhering to health and safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Host or Hostess in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in hospitality, restaurant operations, or hotel guest services is highly desirable
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly demeanor with a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences
