Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of service advisor experience
Valid vehicle operators license

Automotive Service Advisor Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Handle telephone inquiries quickly and in same courteous and friendly manner.
- Write up customer problems accurately and describe clearly on repair order, referring to service records, vehicle inspection, recommending any additional service needed.
- Estimate costs and completion time.
- Monitor progress of repair orders written, communicating with Parts Department, Business Development Department and Technicians in order to complete repairs.
- Handle any critical situations according to procedure and contact appropriate management.
- Assist with final inspection and road testing as requested
- Review completed repair orders and pricing and notify customer; be available to explain.
- Help maintain department service records, including repair order file and credit list.
