Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist will provide school-based occupational therapy services to students and collaborate with educators, families, and other school-based professionals to support student development and success.
Responsibilities may include:

Providing occupational therapy services to students

Supporting students with fine motor, sensory, functional, and developmental needs

Developing and implementing appropriate therapy goals and interventions

Collaborating with teachers, school staff, families, and related service providers

Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student progress

Maintaining accurate documentation and student records
Occupational Therapist Qualifications

Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) license

Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited program

Experience working with children or in a school-based setting preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, families, and school staff
