ABOUT THE ROLE
The Taproom & Events Manager will supervise and inspire the front-of-house team daily while working to continuously improve upon all front-of-house operations.
As the manager, you will oversee many weekly and special events while ensuring that our team and all guests have a great time. You will work closely and collaboratively with ownership, our kitchen manager, and our brewmaster with a focus on the customer experience inside the brewpub as our ultimate brand ambassador.
A successful Taproom & Events Manager will be self-driven, lead by example with energy and attitude, execute at a high level, pay attention to the details, and be a resource to all employees of On Rotation. They will contribute to the strategic growth, marketing, and budgeting of On Rotation as Dallas’ premier small batch brewpub.
If you are knowledgeable and passionate about craft beer or other craft beverages, that's a plus.

We are open Tuesday to Sunday (Closed Mondays). Our typical shifts for front-of-house employees are 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Open) and 4 PM to 10:30 PM (Close) with some mid shifts and varied schedules on weekends.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as a core member of the leadership & management team of On Rotation Brewery & Kitchen alongside the Chef/Kitchen Manager and Brewmaster
- Oversee and work to continuously improve all front-of-house (FOH) operations and staff
- Set & maintain the daily schedule for FOH employees
- Support the planning & execution of events in the brewpub
- Work with marketing to properly promote the brewpub
- Host key events in the brewpub & lead peak hour shifts
- Lead by example with staff - setting the tone for customer service, energy, and attitude
- Maintain & stock draft lines in accordance with business expectations, cleanliness & beer quality standards
- Consistently make sure customer needs are met quickly & efficiently and anticipate customer needs when possible
- Create & maintain a pleasant brewpub/restaurant environment (temperature, lighting, music, cleanliness, team conduct, etc.)
- Maintain the safety of the FOH staff and customers and follow all OSHA standards
- Investigate & resolve complaints concerning the quality of service or experience
- Oversee FOH inventory, cost control & profitability of the taproom, reporting to the management team & ownership
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of market/industry trends & opportunities
- Ability to speak confidently about craft beer & general style guidelines
- Skilled in effective communication, responsible decision-making, organization, prioritization, and multitasking
- Ability to recruit, select, supervise, coach, develop, motivate & retain staff
- Ability to work through difficult situations to resolution
- Contribute to tasks outside your key responsibilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
