Responsibilities
- Safely ascend trees using ropes, harnesses, and climbing techniques to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks.
- Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access hard-to-reach areas efficiently and securely.
- Use rigging techniques to carefully lower branches or debris, ensuring safety for team members and property.
- Assist in ground operations as needed.
- Maintain equipment such as climbing gear, chainsaws, and bucket trucks in excellent condition through routine inspections.
- Collaborate with team members on project planning, ensuring adherence to safety standards and best practices in tree care.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a tree climber with a strong background in tree care, pruning, and trimming techniques.
- Demonstrated proficiency in rigging methods for safe branch removal and debris handling.
- Ability to operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts safely while performing elevated work.
- Growing experience in arboriculture or landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively with crew.
- Familiarity with tree care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping practices.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to climbing, rigging, and equipment operation.
