Job Description- Precision Grinder Hand
Salary dependent on experience
- Utilize Manual I.D./O.D. grinder, surface, Jig Grinder, or Studer CNC Grinder to process a variety of precision work-pieces in a job shop environment
- Plan operations by studying blueprints, work instructions, materials, and any other specifications that may be provided
- Communicate with manager, supervisor and other departments to ensure steady workflow and proper condition of work-piece upon arrival to grind department
- Make and use fixtures and setups to achieve manufacturing objectives
- Use measuring equipment and all available resources and observations to ensure functionally and visually defect free product
- Maintain safe operations by following all internal and external safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain equipment through regularly documented preventive maintenance, manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting
- Complete any required quality or manufacturing documents
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned
Requirements- Precision Grinder Hand
- Ability to understand and interpret drawings and specifications
- At least one year of experience working as a manual grinder hand, more preferred
- Good communication skills
- Must have a Great Attitude and be a Team Player
- Attention to Detail and Help keep shop clean
