Job Title: Dean of Assessment & Accountability
Reports: Campus Principal, Executive Administrator
Status: Full- Time Salaried, 12-month Employee
Salary: $85,000.00
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Dean of Assessment & Accountability provides leadership for the school's assessment program, accountability systems, operational effectiveness, compliance monitoring, and campus management. This position ensures that student assessment data are accurately collected, analyzed, and utilized to improve instructional outcomes while overseeing selected operational functions that support a safe, efficient, and well-managed school.
The Dean serves as the school's Building Test Coordinator and partners closely with the Dean of Academics to support continuous school improvement.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
ASSESSMENT LEADERSHIP

Serve as Building Test Coordinator.

Coordinate all state and local assessments.

Ensure compliance with Tennessee testing procedures.

Train testing personnel.
-
Secure testing materials.
-
Maintain testing documentation.
ACCOUNTABILITY
-
Monitor TVAAS, TCAP, BENCHMARK, and accountability measures.

Analyze assessment results.
-
Prepare accountability reports.
-
Maintain school performance dashboards.
-
Support accreditation and charter deadlines.

Success coaching
DATA ANALYSIS

Disaggregate assessment data.
-
Prepare instructional reports.
-
Assist teachers with data interpretation.

Collaborate on intervention planning.
OPERATIONS
-
Coordinate arrival and dismissal.

Oversee emergency management procedures.
-
Support attendance initiatives.
-
Coordinate student discipline systems.

Assist with campus safety planning.

Monitor operational compliance assigned by the Principal.
LEADERSHIP

Participate in instructional leadership meetings.

Support implementation of school improvement plans.

Assist the Principal with supervision of school operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Tennessee Educator License

Master's Degree
-
Experience coordinating assessments

Strong data analysis skills

Knowledge of Tennessee accountability systems
