Registered Nurse (RN) – Occupational Health
Contract Opportunity with Potential for Permanent Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00/4:30 PM
Our client, an employer based healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Occupational Health team. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is passionate about employee health, workplace safety, and delivering high-quality clinical care.
This is a contract position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, prioritize, and provide patient care within the RN scope of practice.
- Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Provide immediate care for occupational injuries and coordinate follow-up care to support employees' safe return to work.
- Conduct employee health assessments and medical surveillance programs.
- Identify potential workplace health risks and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee health records and documentation.
- Prepare reports and ensure compliance with occupational health standards and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with employees, leadership, and healthcare providers to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Occupational Health nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Relevant occupational health certifications are preferred.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 4:30 PM
