As a Driver, you are responsible for the safe and professional transportation of both hazardous and non-hazardous chemical products to customer locations throughout region. This position serves as a critical link between our operations team and customers, ensuring products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
Successful Drivers are safety-focused, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with Dispatch, Operations, and Plant personnel to execute planned delivery schedules, maintain compliance with DOT and hazardous materials regulations, and represent Hill Brothers Chemical Co. in a professional manner at every customer location.
The Specifics:
· Safely operate Class A Commercial vehicles, including tanker trailers, in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, state, and local regulations.
· Transport and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous chemical products to customers’ locations safely and efficiently.
· Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections of vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
· Verify product loads, shipping paperwork, and delivery documentation prior to departure.
· Ensure proper use and placement of required HAZMAT placards and transportation documents.
· Follow established delivery routes and schedules while maintaining communication with Dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or customer concerns.
· Safely load and unload tankers and packaged chemical products according to company procedures and customer requirements.
Support terminal operations as needed while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
