2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday | 3:45 PM – 2:15 AM
3rd Shift: Friday – Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a Cleanroom Assembly Technician to join the Fluid Handling team in Devens, MA. This position supports the manufacturing of single-use assemblies for the medical industry in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment.
The ideal candidate has manufacturing or assembly experience, enjoys hands-on work, and can thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining strict quality and cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, clean, inspect, and package single-use products following Engineering Process Records (EPRs), drawings, and SOPs.
- Follow cleanroom protocols and cGMP requirements to maintain an ISO Class 7 environment.
- Wear required PPE, including hair covering, gloves, face mask, safety glasses, and composite toe shoes.
- Read and interpret work instructions, engineering drawings, and assembly documentation.
- Use hand tools and measurement equipment to complete assemblies accurately.
- Complete manufacturing documentation and sign off on work orders and EPRs.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas using 6S standards.
- Return unused materials properly with lot traceability.
- Support inventory accuracy and material control.
- Identify and escalate quality or process concerns to prevent scrap or rework.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Meet production schedules and on-time delivery requirements.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0–2 years of manufacturing, assembly, or cleanroom experience.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable standing up to 95% of the shift.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Strong hand dexterity and ability to use simple hand and measurement tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred:
- Cleanroom experience.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Work Environment:
- ISO Class 7 Cleanroom environment.
- PPE required at all times:
- Hair bouffant
- Gloves
- Surgical face mask
- Safety glasses
- Composite toe safety shoes
- Standing and hands-on assembly work for most of the shift.
