Amador Valley Veterinary Center is Hiring! We're a general small and exotic animal practice -- offering routine, specialty and urgent care.
We are seeking an experienced registered veterinary technician - 3+ years experience or more.
You must possess a strong knowledge base and excellent technical skills, including venipuncture, injections, IV catheter placement, radiography, animal restraint, surgical preparation/assistance, anesthesia monitoring/recovery and dentistry.
Experience working as a veterinary technician is required; RVT and knowledge of IDEXX Cornerstone is preferred.
Responsibilities of the Veterinary Technician:
- Support doctors in treating pets and educating clients.
- Assist with medical treatment, surgeries, dentals, procedures, hospitalization and emergencies.
Requirements of the Veterinary Technician:
- 3+ year experience in clinical veterinary setting
- possess excellent technical skills
- possess strong communication and teamwork skills
- be able to multi-task with consistent attention to detail

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
