Lite-On is seeking an experienced and hands-on Associate Manager, Warehouse to support warehouse operations for our upcoming manufacturing facility near Plano, Texas. This role will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, receiving, shipping, material movement, storage optimization, and team leadership. The Associate Manager will work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, and Planning teams to ensure accurate inventory management and uninterrupted support of manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory transactions.
- Manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance management, and workforce development.
- Ensure timely material delivery to production lines to support manufacturing schedules and customer commitments.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.
- Establish and maintain warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, productivity, and safety metrics.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and warehouse operating procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, space utilization, and material flow optimization.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Production Planning, and Quality teams to resolve material shortages and inventory discrepancies.
- Support ERP/WMS transactions and ensure accurate inventory records within company systems.
- Investigate and resolve shipping, receiving, and inventory-related issues.
- Manage warehouse capacity planning, layout optimization, and storage strategies.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse processes.
- Support physical inventory counts and annual audit requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 10-12 years of warehouse, logistics, or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 5-7 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing warehouse teams.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and logistics processes.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and material handling best practices.
- Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, semiconductor, or automotive manufacturing environments.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APICS, CPIM, or CSCP certification preferred.
- Experience implementing warehouse process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technologies.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
