Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of beverages and food items.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, ensuring adherence to alcohol service laws and promoting a safe environment.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of bar stations during shifts, including stocking supplies and managing inventory levels efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members across food service operations to deliver seamless service during busy periods like banquets or nightlife events.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling and cashiering procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts using strong time management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding, and tab calculations.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with local laws; knowledge of beverage brewing processes is a plus.
