Argentum Airways is hiring an Airline Dispatcher to play a critical role in airline flight operations by ensuring flights depart and arrive safely, on time, and following regulatory requirements. The Dispatcher will act as the operational backbone of operations, coordinating with pilots, air traffic control, ground operations, and maintenance teams while monitoring weather and aircraft performance

Flight Planning: Create and file flight plans compliant with FAA regulations, taking into account weather, aircraft performance, and fuel requirements.

Monitoring & Communication: Track flight progress, provide updates to pilots, and communicate realtime changes due to delays, emergencies, or weather conditions.

Coordination with Air Traffic Control: Ensure flight clearances, routing, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Emergency Management: Initiate emergency response procedures and support pilots during irregular operations.

Crew Coordination: Schedule and notify crew members, conduct preflight briefings, and manage operational control in conjunction with the Pilot in Command (PIC).

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of flight operations, fuel use, passenger load, and operational incidents.

Optimization & ProblemSolving: Adjust flight schedules, reroute aircraft, and optimize routes to ensure efficiency and safety.

Education: High school diploma or GED minimum; associate or bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field is preferred

Certification: FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate is required; familiarity with flight planning software is essential.

Experience: Previous experience in airline operations, flight dispatch, or aviation is highly preferred; understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and weather analysis is crucial.
Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and communication skills; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational systems.
Other Requirements: Flexibility for rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; ability to travel as needed; working knowledge of safety protocols and FAA regulations.
Location: Headquarters, onsite in Orlando, Florida
Schedule: Operations run 24/7/365, requiring shift work and flexibility, flights are AST.
