An expanding metal manufacturer in Minneapolis, MN, is looking to add a maintenance mechanic assistant to its growing team! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your career in a family-owned, supportive work environment.
Job type: Temp-to-hire
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Wage: $20/hr.
Hours: 6 am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday, OT on Saturdays

Duties of the maintenance mechanic assistant:
- Assist with maintenance of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Support troubleshooting and repairs to minimize downtime
- Help with routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Assist in machinery installation and upgrades
- Work alongside the maintenance and production teams to resolve equipment issues
Requirements of the maintenance mechanic assistant:
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- 1+ year of maintenance experience or applicable schooling is desired
- MIG welding experience a plus
- Steel-toed boots
