Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Batch Maker to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and producing batches of chemical or pharmaceutical products in accordance with strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely, contributing directly to the delivery of high-quality products. Responsibilities
- Accurately measure, mix, and prepare raw materials and chemical agents to produce batches according to specified formulas and procedures
- Operate manufacturing equipment, including mixers, blenders, and packaging machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and maximize efficiency throughout the production process
- Maintain strict adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards such as CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) during all production activities
- Handle hazardous materials safely using appropriate chemical handling procedures and personal protective equipment such as respiratory protection and other PPE
- Document all batch records meticulously, including ingredient quantities, process steps, and quality checks for traceability and compliance
- Assist in warehouse activities related to materials handling, inventory management, and packaging operations as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within pharmaceutical or industrial chemical sectors
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques to optimize production workflows
- Familiarity with regulatory/legal compliance standards relevant to pharmaceutical or chemical production processes
- Experience handling industrial chemicals safely with proper use of PPE such as respiratory protection
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred)
- Laboratory experience or familiarity with quality testing procedures is a plus
- Strong understanding of CGMP guidelines and documentation requirements for regulated manufacturing environments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
