As a HR Assistant, your focus will be in assisting with recruiting and selecting top qualified talent who will fit with our organizational culture and mission. You will also assist by following the hiring process from writing the job ads through filing new hire onboarding paperwork. This position is fast-paced and goal oriented, and you must be a self-starter to be successful. The job incumbent will have the opportunity to grow with our firm by expanding their knowledge and job duties.
Job Duties
- Work with the Human Resources Manager and Team Leaders to interview by video and select top qualified candidates for employment.
- Review resumes to identify potential talent.
- Use creative methods to attract and source candidates including writing success profiles for each position, posting job ads, and networking with businesses and universities.
- Conduct initial phone calls with potential interviewees and all qualified applicants.
- Administer employment assessments to job candidates.
- Must be proficient with technology to manage and conduct phone/video interviews.
- Must become familiar with the firm’s benefits package and job profiles for each position to articulate information to candidates.
- Must be able to recruit qualified applicants who fit our organizational culture and mission.
- Verify candidate references.
- Conduct background checks.
- Have payroll experience
- Assist the HR Manager with administrative tasks as needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
