Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high standards of hospitality, and optimizing revenue management strategies to enhance the overall performance of the hotel.
Duties
- Oversee daily operations including front desk management, housekeeping, and guest services to ensure a seamless experience for all guests.
- Supervise and train hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Implement effective revenue management strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining high occupancy rates.
- Handle guest relations with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service and resolving any issues promptly and effectively.
- Manage budgeting processes, ensuring that all departments adhere to financial guidelines while achieving operational goals.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as quality standards.
- Coordinate with human resources to recruit, hire, and manage staff performance, ensuring all team members are well-trained in hospitality practices.
- Maintain effective communication with guests through multi-line phone systems, providing information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Oversee night audit processes to ensure accurate reporting of daily financial transactions.
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations.
- Knowledge of revenue management techniques and budgeting processes.
- Proficiency in hospitality management principles including front desk operations and night audits.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
