About SOLAIRE
SOLAIRE is a modern fine jewelry brand specializing in bespoke engagement rings, custom pieces, and thoughtfully designed fine jewelry. From sourcing exceptional diamonds and gemstones to developing each piece through design and production, we take a highly personal approach centered around considered design, exceptional craftsmanship, and thoughtful client service.
As SOLAIRE continues to grow, we're looking for a Client Experience & Operations Associate to work closely alongside the founder and support the day-to-day operations of the brand.
This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about fine jewelry who wants hands-on exposure to many facets of the business — from client relations and bespoke design to production, sourcing, and studio operations.

The Role
This is a dynamic, hands-on position for someone who is highly organized, meticulous, adaptable, and excited by an environment where no two days look exactly the same.
You'll work closely with the founder to manage the client experience and coordinate bespoke projects from initial inquiry through design, production, and delivery. You'll also work directly with our CAD designers, production partners, and diamond and gemstone dealers, developing a broad understanding of the fine jewelry business along the way.
As an early member of a growing team, we're looking for someone excited to learn, take initiative, and grow into greater responsibility over time.
What You'll Do
Client Experience
- Manage client communication across email, Instagram DMs, and other channels, providing thoughtful and elevated service from initial inquiry through completion.
- Understand prospective clients' needs, budgets, timelines, and vision, and guide them toward the appropriate next steps.
- Coordinate consultations, stone viewings, wax fittings, and pickups, including preparing materials for appointments.
- With experience, conduct select virtual and in-person client consultations and design appointments.
- Assist with quotes, invoicing, payments, and ongoing client communication.
Bespoke Projects & Production
- Coordinate custom projects across design, CAD, production, and completion.
- Maintain a clear understanding of active projects, specifications, timelines, priorities, and upcoming milestones.
- Work closely with the founder, CAD designers, and manufacturing partners to communicate design direction and coordinate revisions.
- Oversee production timelines, vendor communication, and project logistics.
- Assist with quality control and final review of completed pieces to ensure they meet SOLAIRE's high standards for quality and craftsmanship.
Diamonds, Gemstones & Studio Operations
- Support diamond and gemstone sourcing, including organizing client sourcing requests, stone specifications, imagery, and inventory.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing stones with our network of trusted suppliers.
- Prepare the studio, stones, samples, and materials for private client appointments.
- Assist with photographing and filming stones and finished jewelry.
- Coordinate packaging, insured shipping, pickups, and other day-to-day studio needs.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with excellent judgment and a natural instinct for client service. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities at once while maintaining a high level of care and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, trustworthy, and eager to learn. You enjoy working in a growing environment where priorities can evolve quickly and are excited by the opportunity to contribute across different areas of the business rather than remain within one narrowly defined function.
Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of experience in fine jewelry or luxury retail; direct fine jewelry experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple bespoke projects while keeping track of each client’s unique preferences, specifications, and requests to deliver a highly personal and thoughtful client experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneously
- Genuine passion for fine jewelry and design, with a strong aesthetic sensibility and eagerness to deepen your knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and craftsmanship
- Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to adapt as priorities evolve
- Experience with bespoke jewelry, bridal, production, CAD coordination, diamonds, or gemstones is a plus
- Based in Orange County or Los Angeles; Orange County preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally between our Orange County studio and Los Angeles production partners as needed
Schedule & Location
This is a 25-30 hour/week flexible hybrid position. The role does not require being in the studio full-time; remote work is welcome when responsibilities allow. Regular in-person availability is required for client appointments at our Orange County studio, visits to our Los Angeles production partners, and other studio or production needs.
The Opportunity
You'll work directly alongside the founder and gain hands-on exposure to the complete lifecycle of fine jewelry—from client relationships and stone sourcing through bespoke design, production, and final delivery.
For someone looking to build a career in fine jewelry, this is an opportunity to develop experience across both the creative and operational sides of the industry while playing a meaningful role in the continued growth of SOLAIRE.
Eligibility
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel between Orange County and Los Angeles as needed for the role.
Compensation
$25–28/hour, depending on experience
