Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Manage incoming shipments by verifying quantities, inspecting for damage, and recording receipt details using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and AS400.
- Prepare outgoing orders by picking, packing, and staging products according to order specifications using order pickers and RF scanners.
- Ensure accurate stock levels by stocking shelves, replenishing inventory, and conducting regular cycle counts.
- Utilize warehouse distribution processes to organize products efficiently for storage or shipment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with order fulfillment activities such as packaging, labeling, and preparing shipments for carriers.
- Maintain detailed records of all inbound and outbound shipments, including load & unload logs and inventory updates.
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience with a focus on shipping & receiving operations is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management
- Basic math skills are necessary for counting inventory accurately and verifying shipment quantities.
- Knowledge of order picking & packing processes within an e-commerce or distribution environment is a plus.
