Lube and Tire Tech Duties
- Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety
- Conduct oil changes and replace automotive fluids such as coolant, transmission fluid, and brake fluid following manufacturer specifications
- Assist with minor mechanical repairs such as brake inspections, belt replacements, and battery testing
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform vehicle maintenance tasks efficiently
- Conduct vehicle alignments and basic diagnostics to identify issues requiring further repair or service
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Lube and Tire Tech Experience
- Dealership experience or automotive service background preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Prior mechanic experience with standard passenger cars is highly desirable
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, fluid replacement procedures, tire service, and basic mechanical repairs is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and alignment equipment is a plus
- Experience in automotive repair or service technician roles demonstrates your ability to handle diverse maintenance tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically active environment
- Strong customer service skills combined with sales aptitude help you connect with clients and recommend appropriate services confidently
