Special Response Flex Officer
** Must have flexibility of scheduling. Shifts vary weekly. **
Role:
A Flex Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by observing and reporting activities, enforcing site policies, and helping employees, visitors, and clients. While not carrying a firearm, the officer plays a critical role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:

The State of Texas requires that you must have or obtain and maintain a valid Level II Security License as issued by TOPS when providing any regulated activities in the State of Texas.
This role has the following special qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must successfully complete an on-site interview with both the site supervisor, as well as all required site training, while meeting established performance standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Patrol & Surveillance
o Conduct regular walking patrols to enhance safety and proactively identify and report security concerns.
o Monitor facility access points, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
o Diligently monitoring surveillance feeds for signs of potential threats or breaches.
Incident Response & Reporting
o Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents using established protocols.
o Maintain precise and detailed logs documenting activities, incidents, and observations.
o Execute routine tasks such as locking/unlocking doors and activating/deactivating security systems.
Customer Service & Policy Enforcement
o Provide excellent customer service by assisting and addressing concerns of visitors and employees.
o Enforce security procedures as outlined in the Security Post Instructions.
o Ensure compliance with SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking violations).
Minimum Required Skills & Abilities:

Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday), if needed.

Basic computer experience and ability to use a tablet for security reports.
Preferred Skills & Abilities:

Experience with the Microsoft Office Productivity Suite.
