Herman Packaging is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Customer Service / Purchasing Representative to join our growing team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Processing customer orders and entering purchase orders accurately into the system
- Assisting customers with order status, delivery updates, and general inquiries
- Coordinating with production, shipping, and accounting departments to ensure smooth order flow
- Communicating with vendors regarding regular purchase orders and material availability
- Reconciling invoicing backup paperwork, DRs, acknowledgments, and related documentation
- Answering incoming phone calls and assisting visitors professionally
- Following up on missing paperwork and ensuring all documentation is completed on time
- Maintaining organized records and supporting daily office operations
- Assisting management with additional administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service, purchasing, or administrative support preferred
- Experience in the corrugated packaging industry is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, cooperative, and willing to work as part of a team
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company systems quickly
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
