Candidate must have the ability to provide a safe and enriching environment, providing care which promotes the physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of infants and toddlers. Must be able to address the developmental needs of all ages specifically toddlers. The candidate must be able to provide support to parents, in their role as primary caregivers and teachers of their children. The Lead Teachers must have an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Development, Child Development or some credentials and a minimum of one year experience with infants and toddlers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, own transportation is a must. Must be able to past annual physical and TB test, criminal background check.

Responsible for knowing and following all NC-DCDEE policies and guidelines, including sanitation and CACFP regulations
