Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble catering orders with precision and attention to detail
- Load, unload, and organize supplies using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver catering orders across designated routes
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time by following planned routes and schedules
- Assist with setting up catering events, including moving tables, chairs, and food stations as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during delivery and setup
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and storage areas to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially route driving in busy environments
- Ability to lift heavy items frequently during loading, unloading, and event setup
- Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Comfortable performing manual tasks including heavy lifting and moving items safely
- Knowledge of driving regulations, including manual transmission operation when applicable
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality for scheduled deliveries and pickups
