One Ten Machining is a family owned and operated business in our 7th year.
We are seeking a new team member to join our growing business. The candidate must have experience in programming, setup and lathe operation. This position will be responsible for running Haas CNC Machines.
WE ARE A JOB SHOP! We machine small precision components for many industries firearms, precision components for electric guitars along with custom wheels and caps for the aftermarket Truck and Automotive world.
We are an ever changing job shop. This is very interesting and exciting work. We use GibbsCam. If you know programming, but aren't familiar with GibbsCam, we can train you to be successful. NO TOOLS REQUIRED! We provide everything!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow standard work for each operation and produce quality parts.
- Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
- Measure workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
- Perform minor preventive machine maintenance such as oiling machines and do all necessary cleaning on equipment and work area.
- Able to work in a fast paced team environment without direct supervision.
- Regular and punctual attendance is required.
- Flexible to work in any area of the operation.
- Ability to work overtime
- Other duties as assigned.
- Keep area clean and organized.
Requirements:
- Communication Skills
- Mathematical Skills-ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Reasoning Ability-ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask.
- Experience in CNC Mill operation is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
Qualifications:
- Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Minimum experience: 1 years
- Knowledge of CNC programming required
