The Opportunity
As a Personal Insurance Producer, you'll help grow our personal insurance division by developing new client relationships and providing customized insurance solutions. This role is ideal for a sales professional looking to enter the insurance industry or an insurance professional ready to take on a more sales-focused position. In this role you will:
- Prospect and develop new business through networking, referrals, community involvement, and outreach.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Sell personal insurance products including auto, home, umbrella, and related coverages.
- Conduct needs-based consultations and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Meet individual sales goals and drive new business growth.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Utilize agency systems, carrier platforms, and sales tools effectively.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications Required
- Washington State Property & Casualty License, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- At least 1 year of customer-facing experience (sales, retail, banking, hospitality, customer service, etc.).
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Comfortable learning and using technology and new systems.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Preferred
- 2+ years of insurance industry experience.
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients or complex accounts.
- Familiarity with agency management systems, comparative raters, and Microsoft Office.
