American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week assignment in Plantation, FL, working Friday through Sunday on day shifts.

CT Scan department within an acute care hospital setting

Facility operates 2 CT scanners with 2 tables

Staffing model of 2 CT Techs per shift on 12-hour shifts

Patient ratio of 1:1

GE Discovery 450 (1.5T) equipment in use

EMR: Meditech
-
Procedures include CT scans, X-rays, and body scanning to produce imaging of bones, organs, and tissues

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)

No on-call requirement associated with this position

Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience, with active experience within the last 6 months

Current BLS and ARRT certification required

License required if applicable

US SSN and DOB required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted

Two professional references required (Florida state requirement)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Preferred certifications include ACLS, RT(T), ASRT, and FASRT, though none are required

Scrub color requirement: royal blue or white

The facility is a 229-bed Joint Commission-accredited hospital and has been recognized as a top-performing hospital since 1983

Facility is a certified primary stroke center and Blue Distinction Stroke Center

Candidates must be independent, adaptable, critical thinkers comfortable working weekends
