What you will be doing
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas as well as satisfying guests in terms of the friendliness and service of the housekeeping staff. Ensure Guest Rooms and all hotel public areas are clean and operating correctly.
- Prepare opening and closing tasks/assignments as needed
- This may include break-out boards, assigning times, checking rooms and entering into the system, and ensuring associates take breaks and clock in/out on time.
- The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for inspecting some pre-setting of guest rooms requests and ensuring proper cleanliness standards are met in all guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, service and public areas, and linen closets.
- Safety and Security: Key control is required for guests and associates. Keys are to be accounted for and secured on a constant basis.
- Assist with monthly inventories, proper ordering, receiving, and maintenance of supplies.
- As needed, responsible for cleaning vacant dirty rooms to be guest-ready, and returning occupied dirty rooms to an occupied clean status within specified time and accuracy constraints per brand standards and best practices.
- Leads and supervises the Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Lobby Attendants in their daily duties to ensure service and guest standards are met and the daily operations of the department are running smoothly
- Handles guest concerns or needs in a prompt and efficient manner, notifying and working with other departments if additional assistance is required for guest satisfaction.
- Conducts weekly huddle empowering team and sharing goals.
- Take the initiative to interact with guests and team members in a friendly and professional manner.
- Verify and report the status and/or discrepancies of rooms.
- Coach or retrain employees on poor performance observed after inspecting the room.
- Enforces policies and procedures in the department.
- Enter weekly schedule in M3 Labor.
- Strong leader who leads by example in a positive manner.

- Enforces company policy and act swiftly on any disciplinary actions.

Requirements
1- 2 years of Guest Room Attendant Supervisory experience
Flexibility in scheduling required, including weekends, and holidays when needed.
Marriott Lightspeed PMS or Stay PMS (preferred)
Education & Experience
Fluent in English and Spanish (Preferred)
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
