About Us
Weed Patrol is a fast-growing, locally owned lawn care company based in Nanuet, NY. We specialize in lawn care applications, including fertilization, weed control, lawn health treatments, and seasonal pest control.
This is not a mowing or landscaping position. Our focus is professional lawn care applications and helping customers improve the health and appearance of their lawns.
We are looking for an experienced, dependable Lawn Care Field Supervisor to help lead our field team, support technicians, maintain quality standards, and keep daily operations running smoothly.
About the Role
The Lawn Care Field Supervisor will help oversee daily routes, train and support technicians, inspect work quality, troubleshoot lawn issues, and communicate with the office team.
This role is best suited for someone with lawn care, fertilization, pest control, or route-based service experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and grow with the company.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and support lawn care technicians in the field.
- Help plan, organize, and monitor daily service routes.
- Perform lawn care applications when needed (fertilization, weed control, crabgrass prevention, grub control, and other turf treatments).
- Perform seasonal pest control applications when needed (mosquito, flea, tick, and perimeter pest treatments).
- Train technicians on application procedures, equipment use, safety, and company standards.
- Inspect lawns and identify common issues such as weeds, insects, fungus, drought stress, and thin turf.
- Perform quality checks to make sure services are completed properly.
- Communicate clearly with the office about route issues, property conditions, customer concerns, and technician needs.
- Help keep trucks, equipment, and materials organized and properly maintained.
- Set the example for professionalism, reliability, and quality work.
What We’re Looking For
- Lawn care, fertilization, pest control, or outdoor service experience.
- Prior leadership, supervisor, or route leader experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Able to lead by example and support technicians in the field.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage daily priorities.
- Comfortable working occasional Saturdays during peak season.
Nice to Have
- Pesticide applicator license.
- Experience training technicians or managing routes.
- Knowledge of lawn weeds, turf insects, fungus, and common lawn stress issues.
- Experience with service software or field systems.
What Makes This Job Different
- This is a leadership role in a skilled lawn application company — not mowing or landscaping.
- You’ll help build and support a growing field team.
- We provide organized routes, clear systems, and office support.
- You’ll have the opportunity to grow with the company as we expand.
- We value reliability, communication, quality work, and leadership.
