Job Overview
We are looking for an energetic, people-oriented Host to join the Padel Alley team. As the first and last point of contact for our players, you will play a key role in shaping the experience of everyone who walks through our doors. From welcoming new members to supporting daily club operations, you will help create the welcoming, professional atmosphere that defines Padel Alley.
This is a paid position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, social environment and is passionate about sports, hospitality, and community.
Duties
- Greet players upon arrival, check them in, and direct them to their courts or activities
- Onboard new clients by explaining the club's offerings, activity formats, and membership options
- Manage court reservations and walk-in bookings through Playtomic
- Process sales of beverages, snacks, and pro shop items using Spot On POS
- Monitor court activity and common areas throughout the shift, ensuring cleanliness and a welcoming environment
- Support event setup and operations when scheduled for tournaments or special activities
- Complete opening and closing procedures, including shift checklists and management reports
- Capture and upload photo content from activities and events for club marketing purposes
- Escalate incidents, complaints, or maintenance issues to the Club Manager or Supervisor as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or a sports/fitness environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — warm, professional, and solution-oriented
- Comfortable working with reservation and POS systems
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work afternoon and weekend shifts
- Genuine interest in padel, pickleball, or racquet sports is a plus
