Position Summary
The Industrial Electrician – Maintenance Tech III supports both production equipment and facility infrastructure within a precision manufacturing environment.
This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The position plays a critical role in maintaining production uptime by ensuring all electrical components, machinery, and control systems operate safely and effectively in a high-performance manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including:

Power distribution systems
*
Control panels
*
Automation equipment
*
Troubleshoot electrical issues involving:

CNC machines
*
Extrusion equipment
*
Manufacturing systems
*
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and electromechanical equipment.

Read and interpret:

Electrical schematics
*
Blueprints
*
Technical manuals
*
Maintain and repair facility electrical systems, including:

Lighting systems
*
Electrical panels
*
Transformers
*
Power distribution equipment
*
Configure and set up electrical devices such as:

Drives

Meters

Parameter programming

Troubleshoot machine, electrical, control system, and process failures to determine root causes.

Identify and replace defective electrical components.

Read and interpret machine error and fault codes.

Inspect and maintain:

Support facility upgrades and layout changes, including:

Education & Experience

High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Minimum of seven (7) years of industrial electrical and maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
