Tooth Kids LLC is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Certified Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with children and help them maintain good oral health. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and certifications.
**Job Overview:**
As a Certified Pediatric Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our Board Certified Pediatric dentists to provide top-quality dental care to children. Your main duties will include assisting with dental procedures, sterilizing equipment, taking X-rays, and educating patients and parents on proper oral hygiene.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist pediatric dentists during dental procedures
- Sterilize and prepare dental instruments
- Take and process patient X-rays
- Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Help with front desk tasks as needed
**Requirements:**
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification
- Experience working with children preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Dentrix experience is a plus
- X-ray certification preferred
- Coronal Polishing certificate preferred
- CPR/BLS Certified
